Daniel De Ridder Signs For Wigan Athletic

Daniel De Ridder has obviously impressed Steve Bruce during his time at Birmingham City, as the now Wigan Athletic boss has just signed the dutch midfielder after he was released by Birmingham football club following their relegation from the Premiership to the Championship.

Steve Bruce brought Daniel from Spanish club side Celta Vigo when he was the Birmingham manager, but a few months later Bruce left to become manager of Premiership side Wigan.

Bruce has now brought in De Ridder who he sees as a highly talented footballer, with a lot of flair and good footballing ability, which he wasn't often able to show when playing in the relegation battles at Birmingham.
